Before the Coffee Gets Cold Review
The first book “Before the Coffee Gets Cold” consist of four stories, first story, “The Lovers”, second story “Husband & Wife”, third story, “Sisters” and fourth story is about “Mother and Child”. This book is all about Time Travelling in a café of Tokyo, Japan. The first story is about Lovers named, Goro, a boy, and Fumiko, a girl. The couples meet in a café as Goro wants to talk with Fumiko about something important. Fumiko already knows about Goro as he wants to break up with her.
Goro is going abroad for a job opportunity, and he wants to leave Fumiko. On the contrary, Fumiko don’t want Goro to leave her because she wants to live with him forever. Nevertheless, she doesn’t stop Goro as she wants to be brave in front of him. Afterwards, Goro left Fumiko and goes in America for a job opportunity.
One week later, Fumiko realizes that she could have stopped Goro when he was leaving. She decides to travel back in time to stop Goro from leaving. She visits her café again where she was with him last time. There she a received a list of rules from Café owner to travel back in time. First rule of time travelling is its time which is very short, and second rule is she can only meet people who has visited café before. She cannot meet people who never been to café before. Third rule is that she will receive a one cup of Coffee and to returns to the present she must drink her given coffee before it gets cold. One more thing, customers cannot leave their café seat until they return to the present from past.

Tales from the Café gives us more insight into a life of old characters from the first book of series “Before the coffee gets cold”. The book also features four new characters who travels back in time in same café of Tokyo. The first story is about a man who travels back in time to meet his best friend who died a two decades ago. The second story is about a son who travels back in time to meet his late mother whose funeral he missed when she died. The third story is about an old man who travels back to meet his late wife. The fourth story is about a man who travels in future to meet his future wife.

Before Your Memory Fades made up of four stories just like first two book of the series. The first story is about “Daughter”, second story, “Comedian”, third story, “Sisters” and last story is about “The Young Man”. The first story is about daughter who wants to travel back in time to meet her dead parents. The second story “Comedian” is story of comedian who travels back in time to meet his late wife.
The third story “Sisters” is about sister who is in contradiction that her cousin has died. The last story “The Young Man” is about a man who works part time at cafe and has a dream to become a Comedian. The first two books stories are set in a Cafe of Tokyo but Before Your Memory Fades story is set in different Cafe in different city of Japan.
