In the poem, author describe himself, he celebrate himself and sing himself. The story of poem begins with poet who says I celebrate myself and sing myself like we celebrate a festival. Whatever I think or believe, you should also believe as we all belongs from same land of America.
Our atoms are same as we belongs to same country land . Therefore, you should agree with me and your thinking should be like me only.
I travel and wonder and invite my soul, and observe the spear of grass of summer season. Here poet is trying say that he observe the nature. I do it because i have enough time for myself. My tongue and every atom of body is made up of a land and air from my country.
My parents were born on this land and my grand parents were also born from the same land. The poet has a great connection with his country, American and all the generation of poet are born from same American land.
The writer says I’m thirty seven years old fit and strong person, and I will keep celebrating myself till death. I have decided that I will enjoy my own company and keep doing it till i die. Religion and caste which divides our society is like an abeyance for us.
I want to stop for sometime and wants to forget this religion and caste system. But it can’t be forgotten as anywhere I go people talk about religion and caste only. I accept both good and bad and I have power to face and talk about any challenges which came across.
As nature has given me enough energy without any restrictions. I’m full of natural energy. I won’t stop and keep moving forward as I have great energy and power. I keep enjoying my life with my own rules and thoughts.
