Summary of Ballad of the Tempest By James T. Fields

The story of poem begins with sailors who are in ship and sharing their sailing life experience. We were crowded in the private room of a ship and no one was able to sleep. It was a midnight time and storm was rising rapidly.

That was a time of winter, everyone was scared and trembling who were in ship. We were feeling cold and able to hear different kind of strange noises.

And we all were trembling in silence. The sea was hungry and roaring to us, and at this point we realize that we will not survive.

We were sitting in darkness and everyone was busy in their prayers. As the captain comes down from the stairs, he shouted that “We are lost”.

There comes Captain’s little daughter who took his icy hand and says, is the God just live only on land and not on ocean.

Then we kissed little girl and speak in energetic cheer, and at last we we reach safe in harbour where the sun was rising clear.
